Welcome to EconDash™
EconDash™ EconDash provides an easy-to-understand tutorial
on Economics (Econ 101)
and examples of how a comprehensive economic dashboard
would look like to monitor the US economy.
The purpose of a dashboard is to view, at a glance, the status
of all critical indicators. It would instantly allow you to see
what is going wrong and what is going right. On an exception basis,
you could click on a particular measure to get definitions, analysis,
or trend information.
We have two examples of economic
dashboards, using data as of late 2003:
iDashes
provides dashboards for your organization to track key performance
indicators (such as Cash Generated, Net Cash Flow, Productivity)
in ExecDash. iDashes also provides
an at-a-glance view of all critical projects in ProjectDash.
If you are looking for current economic results for key indicators
(although not a dashboard), we have found Smartmoney's site to be
useful, at
http://www.smartmoney.com/economywatch/.
